SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is actually alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of sassa infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area regularly. The services place created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to empower the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance status sassa companies,” the agency said.
